It's been around the World more times than Rick Astley, but the Holy Ghost hits its peak in dubstep form.

Like ships passing in the night
As Satchel Of Gravel decides to call it a day, Streetbears popped up again in London. Kanye West just can't seem to finish any of his pending collaborations. Is The Hundreds really 5 years old? Seems like only yesterday that they were a huge presence on Niketalk.
The overwhelming feeling that the Fashion v Sport exhibition at the V&A isn't very good seems to be confirmed by Crooked Tongues withdrawal from the additional events.

How did that happen?
I went to an event at the V&A earlier this week and saw Tyler Brule's name on the guestlist, unchecked. I was tempted to tell the women in charge that I was he, with full conviction. I found myself dismayed at the lack of brown sugar for my coffee onboard a recent flight (to Zurich no less) and my Dad recently announced he's bought a Julian Opie for my parent's new house.

Out Come The Freaks
Not only does Andy Butler from Hercules And Love Affair look like a ginger Rodski, they both have a habit of hanging out with epic Shebeens.

Glass-tone-berry
Most notable moment (for all the right reasons):
Silliest moment: A-trak coming out from behind the decks to dance to Kanye West tied-with co-signing Kid Sister.
Worst t-shirt: many contenders, but they can be only one: Kings Of Neon.
Edit to add: In all my years, I've never seen anyone wearing JB Classics in person. I saw 4 people in different models at Glastonbury. Could be their tagline "the trainers you don't mind getting shit on".

Child Of Jago
What was the most interesting thing that launched this weekend in London? Was it Boneyards? Fixed Maglaunch? Rob-L Puma Clyde? New Insa piece? No, it was the opening on Barnzley's new shop 'Child Of Jago'. And the only mention it gets on the whole wide worldwide internet web is on his mypace. And now this blog.

Two Days Later They Were Reading Him His Rights
After 3 years, I've finally remembered the log-in for this blog. Given a bit of a clear-out and it's good to go.
A lot's happened in 3 years. Air Maxes are passe. Everyone wears Vans Eras and listens to dubstep. I'm older, don't know if I'm any wiser.
This blog is weird thing. It indirectly got me a job doing all the sorts of things I was blogging about, but then I stopped the blog because I was too busy with work. I always enjoyed writing about things I was a fan of and showing support to people/places/things that I thought were doing it right. Time to bring that back. I'm still in the same line of work, but it's about right that I find time to write about things I enjoy once more.
And by the way, did you know RTHQ was back blogging?
